Supportive HousingHousing with PSW Support takes place in houses and apartments owned or operated by Thrive Housing and Support. PSW support at these locations varies from a few hours a week to 24-hour on-site care. Thrive has housing locations throughout the City of Peterborough and limited locations outside of Peterborough. Applicants who require both housing and supports must also apply to Housing Access Peterborough for Peterborough locations or City of Kawartha Lakes Housing for Lindsay locations.
Applicants must require personal care to be eligible for Thrive PSW Services. This means help with personal hygiene, eating, dressing or mobility. In addition to personal care, we can also offer homemaking services such as help with housecleaning, laundry, shopping and preparing meals. Who is eligible? People 16 years of age or older who:

Approval Process
Once we receive your completed application, we will contact you within a few weeks to see if you qualify for our services. If you do, you will be added to a waitlist pending medical and assessment for when we have housing or supports that meet your needs. Wait times can vary, depending on when units and/or support comes available.
Thrive Housing With PSW Supports
Towerhill Village
77 Towerhill Road, Peterborough Eighteen (18) accessible one and 2-bedroom apartments with 24-hour support services available. 
The Sawmill
191 Rink Street, Peterborough Ten (10) one-bedroom apartments with 24-hour support services available. Includes 5 units for people with an acquired brain injury in partnership with the Brain Injury Association-Peterborough Region. |
St Peters
443 Reid Street, Peterborough Thirty (30) accessible units, ranging from bachelor, one and 2-bedroom apartments with 24-hour onsite support. 
Myrtle Terrace
200 St Luke's Ave, Peterborough 10+ one and 2-bedroom apartments with 24-hour support services available. Includes units for people with a developmental disability in partnership with Community Living Trent Highlands. |
Hilliard Park Homes
800 Hilliard Street, Peterborough One and 2-bedroom units available that are accessible or modified. Onsite office but no current overnight supports available at this location. 
Kawartha Lakes
Various locations, Lindsay, ON 10+ one-bedroom scattered site apartments with 24-hour on call support services available. Most locations are in client homes. |

Thrive Housing and Support is the proud owner of Towerhill Village and Hilliard Park Homes. We also partner with private landlords and municipalities in Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes to provide Outreach and Supportive Housing services. Ashburnham Realty, Bick Properties and the TVM Group are examples of these community partners that are integral to our services.
